Sensory Friendly Hour - June 20 and July 18
Join us for a Sensory Friendly Hour before we open to the public on Saturday, June 20th and Saturday, July 18th from 9-10am. During this hour, we will have a calmer, quieter atmosphere for those guests that may need a more muted sensory experience. The twinkly lights will be off, the background music will be off, and there will be less staff and volunteers around the buildings interacting with guests for an overall quieter experience. We will also have sensory bags available to check out at the front desk in the Environmental Science building during all of our open hours this summer. Inside these bags, you'll find communication cards, noise cancelling headphones, and a variety of fidget toys. Roper Mountain is dedicated to igniting the natural curiosity of all learners to explore and shape their world. Come out and join the fun this summer!
Join us on an exclusive VIP experience behind the scenes at Roper Mountain Science Center!
